Announcing The 2016 Queen's Young Leaders Programme . 'The deadline for the submission of applications is 7 September 2015.
The Queen’s Young Leaders Programme, which was launched last year at Buckingham Palace and run by The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust with Comic Relief and The Royal Commonwealth Society, recognises and celebrates outstanding people aged 18-29 from across the Commonwealth who are already leaders in their communities and who are using their skills to transform lives.
Every year for four years, 60 Queen's Young Leaders will be chosen to participate in the programme. Winners of this prestigious award will be given bespoke training and mentoring, including a one-week residential programme in the UK. During this week, the leaders will be presented with their award by Her Majesty The Queen and will undertake a leadership course at the University of Cambridge. The programme is designed to support young leaders in continuing and developing the valuable work that they have initiated in their communities.
If you are aware of any young people who would be interested in applying for this programme, please do encourage them to visit http://jubileetribute.org/program/youth-leadership/ to apply by 7 September 2015.'
